Now
is your chance to show off you favorite alpaca pictures
and prove your photography skills! Photos will be judged
on creativity, composition, content and artistic merit.
The top three placings of each category will receive ribbons,
photo recognition on our website and printing in next
years show book.
There
are five categories:
FARM SCENE:
Alpacas pictured in a seasonal surrounding
ALPACA(S)
INTERACTING: At least one alpaca is to be
shown interacting with other animals, humans or inanimate
objects.
HUMOR:
Alpacas that will make us laugh.
CRIA:
Pre-weanling alpaca(s) caught in a special moment.
COMPUTER
ENHANCED: Use your computer skills to enhance
a picture in a computer graphics program.

Indiana
Alpaca Invitational Photo Competition rules:
Photo
size must be at least 4"x 6" and no larger than
8.5" x 11". Only one photo per category, per
farm will be accepted. All photos must contain at least
one alpaca. No photos are permitted that have previously
been published in any advertising material including handouts,
postcards, buisness cards, websites, etc. Photos must
have been taken within the last 12 months. All entries
may be sent by regular mail in order to be displayed and
judged.
IAI
photo contest committee and contest judges are ineligible
to participate.
Submission
of photos permits IAI to publish photos on IAI website
or in any marketing material.
Ribbons
will be awarded to the first three placings for each category.
Photos and ribbons will be on display at our photo contest
booth. Ribbons may be picked up on Sunday, April 6th after
3pm. Judge's decisions are final. Deadline for photo contest
entry is February 15th, 2008. There is a $5.00 entry fee
for each photo. Make checks payable to Indiana Alpacas
Inc.
